When you are ready to purchase a new VoIP phone system for your company, there are five simple features that you need – features that will make all the difference between success and failure.

But these aren’t technical features like voicemail to email. These are essential features that matter to your employees and your business far more than any new VoIP-based gimmick. When considering any phone system, whether it is VoIP and SIP based or an older key system or something else altogether, there are features and [...]

It’s one thing to go out and get a new phone system. It is something completely different to make use of it effectively. Fortunately for most businesses, the reason they moved to VoIP is primarily based around cost savings, so it’s not like you have to do a lot more than make the switch to start seeing the expected ROI. But that’s a very simplistic way to look at it. Because the pure cost benefit of [...]

There’s an interesting new site available to compare VoIP Phone systems and PBX systems. IT’s called CompareBusinessProducts and the most interesting feature so far is that they have the largest single comparison chart of VoIP vendors and systems to compare – and unlike other organizations that have such charts, theirs is in excel so you can download it and manipulate the information easily. Very highly recommended…

There is a big fuss this week in all the places that track new phone services about Google Voice. Most of the buzz is positive but a few have noticed the negatives. First off, the service is actually only available to CURRENT subscribers to GrandCentral, the service Google bought two years ago which has been closed to new users ever since. But what nobody is saying is that it is actually only open to SOME of even those users. In other words, this is even more beta than most of Google’s offerings.
